What is Your Logo For?
This is my freelance logo for Studio M Graphics.
How I Designed It
This was tough. I tend to design using typefaces vs using an icon. Just my preference. I wanted to come up with something that was clean, sophisticated and modern. Your logo is your first impression to the world and potential clients. I did not want to pigeon hole or limit myself to a particular client based on my logo design. I didn't want to make it too feminine or masculine for that matter. I wanted it to appeal to the masses; young, old, male, female, conservative and liberal alike. I played around with a few typefaces using Illustrator until I found one that fit. I chose grey and orange because I felt that color combination worked best for both men and women.
Advice
- Go with your gut and what you believe in. Keep in mind, not everyone will be a fan, but as long as you did your best that's what will get you through in the end.
