The Dieline is a website all about package design, with a blog of beautiful packaging and a directory of package designers. The site is maintained by Andrew Gibbs, a graduate of the Art Institute of California and now Creative Director, and a number of contributors.
The Dieline Blog
The main focus of the Dieline is the blog, with a continuous stream of packaging examples with brief descriptions. The photos are all high quality and blurbs short and to-the-point, making the Dieline a great showcase of packaging and a good source of design inspiration... like having a constantly updated packaging book at your fingertips. You can dig into the archives by industry (such as fashion and pets), type of feature (such as student work and before and after) and substrate (such as glass bottle and jar).
The Dieline Directory
The Dieline also features an extensive directory of package design firms, agencies and consultants. Broken down by region, the section is a great place to look for local firm, or to just browse portfolios for even more design inspiration.
