MaxBulk Mailer is a stand-alone application ideal for sending newsletters and other emails to large groups.
Creating the Email Newsletter
The “Message” tab within MaxBulk allows you to create an email newsletter directly in the software. Whether you are working in plain text, styled text or HTML, content can be pasted into the message window and MaxBulk will handle the formatting. Simple text editing tools are available, including font selection, size, color and weight. It is extremely helpful to have these tools that provide consistent results when viewed in various email programs and services.
Managing Contacts
Contacts can be managed using the “Recipients” tab. Emails can be added manually, or imported from various sources. MaxBulk can even import directly from the clipboard, making it easy to copy a large group of contacts out of a program such as Excel and add to a mailing list. The software automatically checks for duplicate email addresses and removes them. Groups of contacts can be saved for later use. When a specific contact has been sent an email, MaxBulk will not resend to that contact unless they are “reset,” a handy feature to help avoid duplicate emails to the same person.
Email Settings
Since MaxBulk Mailer is a stand-alone program, your email settings for any number of accounts are entered directly and saved for later use. Standard information such as username, password, ‘from’ address, name and reply-to are entered here. Additionally, there are settings to control how many emails are sent at once and it what intervals. For example, the software can send 50 emails at a time and then wait ten seconds to send the next 50. This is helpful for following the restrictions of many email or hosting providers, created to avoid bulk spam mailings.
Preview and Delivery
Before sending, MaxBulk offers a preview of the message, which is consistently accurate. Once you are happy with the appearance, simply click send and let MaxBulk do the rest, emailing your chosen contact list at the selected interval. The software provides a report of the delivery, which can be saved to a log file for your records.
