Australian Academy of Design has a three year undergraduate program in graphic design. The program has many options including deferring to an Associate Degree after two years, changing your major after the first semester, having a double major and choosing a minor to study. Chiba University's Department of Design Science, housed within the Graduate School of Engineering, offers Master Degrees in three areas of design: Product Development, Information and Communication and Environmental Humanonmics. The Product Development design degree encompasses Product Design, Design Management and Materials Planning. The Information and Communication track includes Communication Design, Human Informatics and Design Psychology. Cranfield University's Centre for Competitive Creative Design (C4D) is a joint educational design degree program between Cranfield and the University of the Arts London. C4D "aims to embed state-of-the-art design-led innovation practice, developed through research and industry collaboration, within business and education to improve commercial performance and develop future innovation leaders." The school has three Masters Degree programs of study: Design and Innovation for Sustainability, Design Strategy and Leadership and Innovation and Creativity in Industry. Delft University's Master of Science in Strategic Product Design focuses on the "'fuzzy' strategic stage that precedes the actual development of a new product or service." The program is a two year degree, is taught in English and offers a choice of three focus ares: Advanced Automotive Design, Medisign and Retail Design. Automotive Design students learn to approach their design from a business perspective and to focus on the relationship of design to corporate structure, company strategy, tacit knowledge, brand identities and brand portfolio design. Medisign students focus on designing products for the health care industry and Retail Design students' course of study encompasses industrial design, architecture, communication design and how they all relate to consumers.
