Graphic design magazines are great if you are looking for inspiration, are interested in reading software reviews or tutorials and if you want to get expert advice from industry leaders through designer profiles and interviews. They are often full of award-winning design and editorials on the graphic design industry. While the printed magazine is all too often being replaced by online versions, I still like to take a magazine with me on-the-go, feel the paper samples, and keep something with me to read when I'm stuck on the subway with no Internet access.

Yes me too. I’m all for technology but it doesn’t mean I want to use it all the time. I love reading paper magazines – always have always will. I can’t see sitting in the doctors office waiting for my turn and pulling out the kindle reader, iphone or ipod. It’s just silly to me. I’m much more comfortable turning pages then doing searches anyway.
I love having paper samples around my office. I broker print so it’s nice having samples. I have to admit though all my reading on the graphic design industry is on a digital publication or blog. I got a new Kindle Fire just for that purpose… reading all my content on the go.
Off topic, but if anyone like infographics I found one I’ve been sending to my clients explaining the fundamentals on designing a business card. Saves me the trouble of explaining it and my clients get a kick out of it.
