Graphic designers love to create calendars (seen often in Smashing Mag's monthly releases), and I love this one by Oscar Diaz. Using ink to slowly move you through the month, it's beautiful, quirky and functional (as a lot of great design is), even if it wouldn't work in most of our homes.
